New Website, Apps and Social Media Channels for RID4

photoThe Rhode Island District 4 Little League staff and its many volunteers are looking forward to a memorable 2016 All-Star Season, one that will be defined by the core values of Little League: Courage, Character and Loyalty. This year, we are pleased to announce an enhanced All-Star experience for players, their families and friends.

The New RID4LL App
Ever wonder what the score is at another game? Away on vacation or work and can’t make it to the field? This year, with help from fans at the games, as players cross the plate, we’ll provide real-time scores for each of the games throughout the District. The District has created an iPhone and Android app that will share live scores updated by those who attend games. The app will also include the latest RID4LL news and a social media hub. Need directions to a field? Open the app, click on the name of the town to which you are traveling, then the name of the field and a Google map will appear providing driving directions. Click on the following links to download the app:

The District needs at least one volunteer at each game to update scores. Interested in taking a greater role at the games this summer? Click here to share your name, town, team and Division. (I.e. Joe Smith, North Smithfield, 9/10 All-Star Team.)

The Brand New RID4LL Website
RID4LL has launched a new website at www.rid4ll.org that contains information in regard to scheduling, scores, brackets, rosters, fields, forms and just about anything else you’ll need to enjoy a summer of Little League All-Star Baseball including the latest news about the RID4LL teams as published in local newspapers.

New Social Media Channels
Don’t just watch the game – share the excitement with others! Like the new Facebook page, follow RID4LL on Twitter and like the new Instagram account. The District encourages you to share your photos on its social channels. Shy? No worries. Send your photos to this email address with detailed information of the subjects in the photo and we’ll post them for you. (Photos shared on the District’s social media channels may also be used on the website, etc.)

Thank you for your support of youth baseball and softball in northern Rhode Island. We look forward to a great season of baseball and softball.

Sincerely,
Rhode Island District 4 Little League Baseball and Softball Staff
